Spices safe for cats?

Suggestions on what spices I can use to make his cat food more appealing?
He is still refusing to eat.

I'm not sure which spices are safe for cats. However, there are various toppers I've seen mentioned that can help encourage a kitty to eat - crushed up freeze dried treats (chicken and shrimp seem popular), bonito flakes, nutritional yeast, parmesan cheese, tuna water . . . Personally, I use Fortiflora when Squeak is being fussy, but I saw on your other thread that your cat isn't too impressed by it.

Another trick you can try (if you haven't already) is heating up the food - I've had good success either heating the food for a few seconds in the microwave, or adding a bit of hot water.

Hopefully you have some luck getting Mr. M to eat!

Don't see any spices on the list, but there is an herb-oregano.

I have a cat which is an American curl breed ad we often give him cat food (Acana Grasslands Formula For Cat & Kitten). Not very often but for a change, during weekends we feed him with cooked chicken drumsticks and usually my wife uses these herbs and spices which she usually purchases from a Canada-based company - Horton Spice Mills. He loves whenever we feed him with yummy treats and too many snacks during weekends.
I don't think so the spices are that harmful for cats unless you make sure that you are using branded and quality spices.

From what I have read garlic and onions should be avoided, also not much salt.
