Hi everyone,
It has been a long time since I have been here and just wanted to let everyone know that I had to put Spice to sleep today. She took a turn for the worse about a week ago. She couldn't walk. And the last couple of days she quit eating and drinking. Poor baby only weighed 4 pounds when I took her in today, we tried force feeding her and water. It was her time. She lived a good 16 years and I will miss her very much. I had her since she was a kitten. I hope she is playing and jumping around. Just take a moment of silence for her.

David, if your avatar is a picture of Spice, she was simply beautiful. My deepest sympathy on the loss of Spice but you knew it was time for her to leave and you did right by her. Somehow losing a beloved pet around the holidays just seem so much harder.......all the memories of them during this time. My heart goes out to you.....so many of us truly do know and understand what it means to lose a special needs pet.
 
Ah Beautiful Spice. I am imagining you playing in a meadow with grass and little flowers, nice warm sunshine, little butterflies and grasshoppers to chase, and lots and lots of friends to play with and cuddle with, while you wait to be reunited with David.

David, I'm so sorry that you had to say goodbye to your sweet little Spice. Its so hard to let them go, especially around the holidays.
Spice will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge with all our GAs there waiting to see us again. It was her time and I hope soon when you work through your grief, all the good memories you shared with her will bring a smile and warmth in your heart. Spice is not gone forever, I truly believe that all we love and bind on earth is bound forever and we will see all our loved ones again.

So sorry for your loss, it's so very hard to let go. I hope Spice can find my Ginger, Mandy, Cindy, and Carly... I know they will love to play with her.

So sorry to hear the news. I think Buddha and Spice arrived in PZI around the same time. I don't visit here often anymore. Bye bye sweet spice.
