Sigh.
I took Scout to the vet this week for weight loss. I was worried it might be cancer but was hoping it was his thyroid. Instead, it's diabetes again.
Funny thing is, Boo was diagnosed in December when he was 9. Now it's December again and Scout is also 9. I told him that when I adopted him to fill Boo's place, this was not what I had in mind.
Luckily, we caught this early, he has no other complications and we have an amazing vet. He's starting out on Lantus--I spent about a billion dollars at the pharmacy yesterday. He got his first ear pokes and first shot today. He didn't mind the shot but hates the pokes--still, he did better at the 2nd one so he'll get used to it. He's a good boy.
