? Snickers OTJ Trial Day 1, AMBG 74, PMBG 74

Snickers AMBG this morning was 74, so we're starting her OTJ trial! Thanks to all who have supported and encouraged us.

One question--it takes 3 days for the depot to drain, right? So is today not really day 1 of her trial? I think I read somewhere the trial really starts after 3 days. She was only on 1 drop before now, so her depot can't be that full from one drop, right? Not sure about this part. Thanks for any input!

One little thing - now you put AMBG before the BG number, instead of AMPS since you aren't giving insulin.
I also saw talk about the trial and the depot insulin. But, as far as I know, the trial really does begin today, even though there is that last tiny bit of depot insulin. Your spreadsheet looks like Snickers should have a great lift off of insulin!
I look forward to seeing other answers though.

Ohhh, that makes sense about the AMPS vs AMBG. Thanks! I'll fix that.

Honestly I've gotten so used to testing her that the idea of NOT testing her kind of freaks me out, if that makes sense. I think I'll probably test her as usual today and tomorrow and then try slowing it down a bit. Snickers sure wouldn't mind the break! Her poor ears! She's a good girl for me though, except now she thinks every time I poke her she gets food. :)
