slowly coming off the carbs and eating everything I put in front of her- she has had 6 oz since midnight and wants more. I know on Sunday or Monday she will all of a sudden stop wanting all this food.

Currently she is sitting beside me wanting to lick my plate (sausage and veggies- and she doesn't want the veggies  ) and whining because I blocked her outside exit. Took my plate into the kitchen so she wouldn't finish off the juice and she started licking the chicken cubes I put out for later. Relented and gave her an oz of FF- shrimp and tuna.

Shot 30 minutes late- did't get up with alarm, silly me, but she hasn't gone back up to the 500's.

Something is wrong with some of my relion strips- they aren't sipping anything.

You tell my little Sneakers friend she be a good girl for her momma today!

Give a pat on the head from Baxter... :-D

If the strips aren't working right, call ReliOn and ask for help. Often they give you ideas and will send a new box. Just don't tell them they are for your cat. (say they are for your daughter - I'm sure that is how you see her. A teenage daughter slipping out while grounded..... )

Hi there, hope the day is going good. It was just a week ago Junior stopped being ravenously hungry. I had to put myself in another room with the door shut for myself to eat!!!!! We are much better now

Her +10 was the low side of 300's, so getting there.

Boxes moved but not where she could get out. I pushed her litter box against the others for more heft. Too bad I am not using the heavy clay litter anymore- she can sometimes move the box now if she tries  .

I am actually testing some kitty litter this week and another this coming week- almost like sawdust but clumping. It has some good qualities and some bad. Otherwise I use the WBCL which is also light.

i'm using the Feline Pine clumping. Not that they hardly use the litter box w being indoor/outdoor cats, but when they do i think this stuff is amazing. I've tried regular litter in all varieties, they want nothing to do with them

One of my friends/neighbors uses/has used some of the sawdust stuff. Looks like pellets, then breaks down pretty nicely. Not sure if that's the stuff she's currently using; I think it's Arm & Hammer brand, which tracks a lot but doesn't smell. I'm also thinking she said it's made from ground up corn cobs. She's got some mats in front of the boxes which help w/ the tracking; and it's the "greenest" litter she's found.

Let us all know what you conclude - I'll be interested in hearing.

Pine... yes, that would be close to sawdust right?

I almost didn't put it out because of the fragrance- wild flowers or something (allergic to fragrances) but decided I needed to change the box anyway and went with it. This stuff is so fine it sticks to her legs with static cling, but falls off quickly.

As it is lighter than the WBCL that is also a plus. Now if I could just get her to stop eating carbs and peeing bowl size pats it would last longer

Food consumption has aparently slowed. Did finish her FF- but is sitting her ogling my bread with shredded cheese and bacon bits and ranch dip for the brocolli  .
Almost time for her shot.

Well yeah - aren't you going to share???!!!

For a while there, when his appetite was ravenous, I felt guilty taking a pasta salad into the dining room. Or rice. Or anything w/ carbs! Honestly, should a little 4-legged intimidate us so?

Hope you have a good night!
