Everything is going okay with my girl, her numbers are going up so we are increasing her dose slowly. She seems to take longer to settle this time around so I go almost a week at the same dose before moving up. Mostly under renal threshhold but visits the IHOP often as she is usually between 200-250 all day (when I test) and goes above it when she has food.

I plan to finish her stool this week and set it in place to see how she likes it. Finally got these off my phone-

before haircut

slightly nekked

this makes it SO MUCH easier to give a shot. I'm keeping the side stripes if the rest of it grows back without mats  .

She must have a thick undercoat, right? I wonder if acro messes with the thyroid (well, I am sure it does) and causes increased undercoat production and shedding - and that causes the mats. And it's probably hard to brush too. Have you tried a dog's slicker brush? the kind that are like a rectangular paddle with the wire teeth? Those work well on thick cat coats.

Are you making the top of her stool larger?

Heather, I just buzzed Pumbaa again yesterday, and it truly does make giving the shots so much easier!

I think Pumbaa snuck out for IHOP today as well. Did he and Sneakers meet up when our backs were turned? *LOL*
