My girls numbers are creeping up so I raised her to 22u to see how that will go. She doesn't like me touching her back feet or picking her up- mostly due to arthritis I figured rather than anything else but with the raise in numbers I am wondering if her dark passenger is starting up again.

Statistics- Peeing more (attributed to the higher #'s) and yesterday no poop (still getting mirilax each day). Not much for play, very little preening (sleeping too much), she does purr a lot but I can't tell if it is the purr b/c I am petting her or the purr b/c she doesn't feel good and is trying to purr herself better. I am going to have to get a shaver b/c her whole back end is getting matted with dandruff- I can never seem to get rid of that stuff  . And she doesn't like me brushing it, either. I go anywhere near her rear and she starts the growling so shaving her will be an experience :? .

I've taken away the board blocking the cat door but realized that she is most likely too big to fit through it anymore unless it was in scaredy-cat/flight mode and then she might end up taking the door with her  .

New people moved into the house at my neighbors and have taken in the kitty so I am still a one kitty household. I would love to have another but Sneakers never wanted a friend and now she is showing her age with the cold weather so bringing in another cat might make her anxious. All she does right now is eat and sleep but she is still interested in both so I guess that is on the plus side- since I have enough Lev to make it February unless she starts guzzling it again  And I've used two of the cartridges and they have been good. Food intake has risen slightly from what i can tell- around 12 oz/day but that might be her body adjusting to staying warm in the colder weather.

That's it for now.

You are doing great for her. She will continue to change things up for you, which makes it so you can never "rest into a routine", at least with set doses, etc.

Do you really think she can't fit through the kitty door? A normal cat needs so little room. Even the small doors seem like they would accommodate a pretty good sized cat.

Will she sleep inside things? Maybe you could get or make a sleeping bed with a surrounding dome it keep the heat in. Beau loves to burrow under my down comforter in colder weather. Or sleep near the heaters (baseboard). Keeping them warm will help with the arthritis.

Oh my sneaky Sneakers
I came home yesterday evening and there she was on the back porch waiting for me to let her back in so she could eat some more
So she can still use the door after all  :?

She heard me drive by on my way to moms house to help unload the dryer. I got back home about 20 minutes later to kitty on the doorstep.
