Hello all!

Sneakers is doing okay for an 18 year old loner. She has her good days and her bad ones but most of them are good. She goes up and down in BG depending on tumor output but for the most part she is going slowly down in dose. Currently around 8u in dose, a slow climb. When she gives me a 50 or below I lower the dose and then slowly build it back up since I am gone for most of the AM cycle.

She seems to be getting pancreatitis episodes- not wanting to eat, throws up bile, wanting to eat but doesn't- but it is not diagnosed beyond what I see. I did manage to get some liquid pepcid so I can give her something without having to entice her to eat a pill when she doesn't feel like eating it.

I took out the bed box springs and am just on the mattress and she is now sleeping with me from about midnight on but she has to stay on the fridge to get her late night munchies and then she wants to be with me when I wake up and she can get her early morning munchies.

Until I get my email address hooked up again I won't get any messages I'll try to get on at least once a week during school.

I used an oral syringe, put the 1/4 tablet in it, drew up some water to dissolve the tablet and maybe a touch of food to mask the flavor, and gave it that way.

Hey Heather

Nice to see an update from you I was just thinking about you and Sneakers. Don't know if you saw but the Fur Gang has increased by two. Mariposa and Casey have joined the ranks. Mariposa is a plushy mini me of Lady Jane Grey that the boys where Jon works found in a dumpster in the same area where I found Angel also in a dumpster then they lost her in the shop only to refind her in one of the work trucks' gloveboxes after she took 150 mile round trip to the jobsite and back. We're guessing she was about 6 weeks old when we got her back in November as her eyes hadn't fully changed color.

The other new members is the Great Pumpkin aka Casey. Who when I got him was on 11u bid of Levemir and eating dry MD, peeing bright red blood and weighing 37lbs and being shot blind. After a battle of wills I convinced him that pate was yummy (maybe too yummy) and I've got his dose down to 1.75u and his weight down to 25lbs. He's a pill and a complete comedian.

Maxwell is still OTJ, that's 3 years and counting for him. And Autumn is holding at a drop, she just can't hold OTJ and probably always will be a microdose girl. Autumn finally discovered after 2 years she was allowed on the bed and now crawls under the covers with me every night.

{{{{{{HEATHER}}}}}} Missed you! Was trying to get a hold of you to get your address, I lost it.
Please drop in once in a while, makes us worry when we don't see you for weeks/months at a time.

Much love and hope Sneaks does ok. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Mel-
The last I knew you had heard of Mariposa and decided on the name she had only been there a day or so- or DH was trying to catch her after being spotted. Casey is new- were you not 'holding' one FD kitty for a bit? That might have been Casey but I don't think the kitty was that high of a dose. Yes, you get them off dry and it does wonders- .

BJ-
I tried the oral syringe and she didn't much care for it so when I found the liquid pepcid I jumped at the chance to get some. Otherwise I let it dissolve in tuna juice so she would lap it up bit by bit.

Deb-
found your message and replied. Sorry to hear Lucian is still doing loopty loops now that he is used to Lev. Good luck on the PZI.
