Hard to tell. His numbers are all over the place and yes, sometimes, it looks like he may have been headed low after the last test you recorded in several cycles. There certainly are some nice numbers scattered in there midcycle and his pre shot numbers could certainly be bounces.

I don't think it would hurt to lower the dose a bit. Getting a curve might also be very helpful. I wonder if he is dropping at night, and then that sets up the bouncy daytime cycle?
 
No problem Sue - I do also. So is prozinc a good insulin as you say. I only use lantus for my guys and this is the first for the prozinc.
 
it's one of those "the best insulin is the one that works for your cat" things. It tends to give less of a flat curve than Lantus. I think she is responding well - it is definitely taking her numbers down. It's a matter of tweaking the dose until you get one that gives her a nice nadir and doesn't cause a bounce. Though you know about bounces - some cats bounce, some don't. She may be a bouncer……
 
Oh, forgot to mention, her infection has reappeared. Unfortunately the rescue gave a convenia shot. I could have screamed. The infection would also drive up numbers, right?
 
Ohhh I'm sorry to hear that. They just love to give out Convenia. Hopefully as the infection goes away, her numbers will go down.
