First off, I want to apologize for not being able to follow thru on my promise to write Purina. I need to decline as we received some horrible news. My husband has been diagnosed with prostrate and colon cancer. He is an 8 out of 10. We have been at the hospital almost every day getting bone scans,CTs and whatever else the Dr's could think of. Looks like surgery and radiation...meanwhile, his sister has breast cancer. When they say trouble comes in threes, they mean it.
Skye is still hanging in there...he is more active, which to me is a good sign. I am feeding him 5-6 times a day to try and get weight back on him. His diabetes is taking a back seat as my vet says I either get him to a neurologist or put him down. I still feel strongly that it is his ear infection that is making him walk weird, because he is walking better more and more. My son says he feels the same. So we will give him to the end of his steroid treatment to see if he improves. THEN a decision will be made.
I want to thank everyone for all their assists during this time. Especially Sue, you've been a lifesaver soooo many times. I will check back occasionally, but for now, I need to concentrate on hubby and furbaby....
