Please someone who knows dosing for SLGS for Skittles. The 1.75 units twice per day is helping but I do not know when her numbers are too low to shoot. Her next shot is at 8 pm tonight. Need help. Thanks.
I still can’t see any data after 5/3....? I don’t even see that you’re up to 1.75 the last entry still says 1.5. Anything lower than 200 for the ps should be considered low. Take a look at this link:Please someone who knows dosing for SLGS for Skittles. The 1.75 units twice per day is helping but I do not know when her numbers are too low to shoot. I looked and no info from 5/3.@jt and trouble (GA) see my post above, can you see the ss and what do you see
8 PM your time does not mean anything to us. We live all over the world. Please express your shot time in + time hours from when you posted. Give us a number of hours until Skittles next shot in other words. Her next shot is at 8 pm tonight. Need help.

Please, we are trying to help you here on the FDMB message board, but we need updated info. Please update your spreadsheet, which does not have any data since 5/3/20. Lowest number depends on how much test data you have, how many test strips you have available, if you can stay up to test and a host of other factors.
With enough data, most any BG pre-shot is shootable with Lantus. But you don't have that data yet. As you learn more about how your cat reacts, that standard suggestion to not shoot below 150 mg/dL changes and can be lowered.
Please Karen, help us help you better and keep the SS updated.
p.s. Also, please add your insulin and your meter used to your User Id signature. Plus the type of food you are feeding.
p.p.s Found her on the FB group and asked her to update the SS.
Yes, it's kind of different from FB. This thread from the Announcements & How to use the FDMB forum has some tips in reply #2, to help you learn to do "stuff" on here.I really am just learning how to navigate and use this board.
Yes, it sure is.Can someone tell me what nadir means? It is obviously very important.
Nadir is the lowest point during the 12 hour dosing cycle that the insulin takes YOUR cat. ECID Every Cat is Different.
Peak/Nadir - the lowest point in the cycle Nadir means low.
