AMPS 433 1.2 units PMPS 362 1 unit. We finished the antibiotics tonight. Yippee! So he's dropping steady again. I think I just need to keep his dose at the right amount so I don't have preshot numbers below 200 for awhile. I'll test him at the +5 tomorrow since I'll be home.
How long in the insulin good once opened?
 
Okay. I keep it in the fridge. He was 456 this morning which is the highest number he has had since he came home. So I am thinking 1 unit isn't enough and 1.5 units is too much. So I gave him about 1.25 units this morning. His +5 number was 161. That's almost a 65% drop. Hopefully that's not too much. We'll see how high he goes tonight. He certainly is feeling better. He started chasing one of the other cats around again. He hasn't done that in awhile! He has also started swatting at me when I do his ear poke! :lol:
