SIRT6

Hi All,

I recently came across some studies that said SIRT6 has been showing promise in inflammatory diseases like kidney disease and a lack of SIRT-6 is associated with type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance. But some studies also note that it can have an inflammatory effect.
I have cats with asthma, CKD, diabetes, pancreatitis, and IBD. I came across this product and am wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this: Pure Pet for Cats

While the product may be marketed for cats, I'm not seeing much (if any) research for SIRT6 in cats. I would be hesitant to use a product that hasn't been independently researched for its use in your cat.
