Hi Suzanne ya i'm excited too. Was sweating a little today cause he usually doesn't got that deep in his cycle to a +8. His Nadir is usually +6. He's not ready for the summer cat Olympics yet but he's progressing much better. Thank you
Good Morning Suzanne. Ya i hope so. He had a good AMPS reading this morning at 191. Hopefully balances out thru the cycle. He might be heading to a reduction in the dose. Let's see how it plays out.

Hey Suzanne, ya it was a great 24hours. I think like you said he is starting to balance out better in those lower numbers..His appetite has been good he's eating me out of the house.Good cycle today and last night too! I hope tonight will be good as well. He seemed to get through those pinks quickly!
Ya I stalled for 15 minutes and decided to go for it since he went up a bit. These low numbers our nice but i do get a little nervous
Thanks, I'm fortunate to be home with him and watch him closely and manage him with the food. I would be really nervous if i was away from home and working long hours.That probably will happen maybe in April or May.
Hopefully, we will have enough data on him so that we know how he will respond. It will be important that he gets his snacks, even if you get an automatic feeder to give them to him. April is coming up in only a few days though. Can your sister test yet?
Ya i'm gonna show her for emergency situations but she is not always around because of her job. The thing with automatic feeders is great but it doesn't guarantee the cat will eat at the critical time. There our many times i give Sir Maximus food and he eats a little walks away and then i grab the bowl put down in front of him and he eats the rest of it. Sometimes i even coax him and put some crumbled pure bites as a topper to get him to eat more. It's like a little psychological game with have with one another but i always win.
You can't do these little tricks when he isn't right in front of your eyes unfortunately.

I gave him LC at +2 and then at +3 went to MC. I thought he was gonna drop under 50 but he prevailed. That was a close call.His numbers seem to be dropping every cycle.

First reading was 98 then 5 min later 91 then 15 min later 102. I shot full dose at 102.
I get little nervous shooting full dose under 100. What should I do in that situation? Lucky it went up but what if it stayed in the mid 90's Probably gonna have to give him some more gravy later.

Ya he has been doing excellent and no bouncing. I do need to know if he falls in the 90's pre shot in the future do I shoot a full dose?
I have all his food and times llised in the comments section on when I had to give him MC.
I think maybe you might want to reduce by .25, but then again you could try it if you’re able to monitor closely. If he needs a lot of carbs to stay above 50 then he probably needs the reduction and we should let him have it.
See that 59 and 57 at +3 had to give him MC to keep him above 50 because it was so early in the cycle. I'm assuming he will.be high.50^s at +3 tonight too..
As long as you can stay up. I wish you had some food about 8-10 percent carbs. Some cats do better on a few more carbs while still staying at ten or under. I am going to try to find some food suggestions for you. Another thing you can do is to mix a tiny bit of MC in with his regular LC. This will bump up the carbs of the food a little bit.
I will be around for the next few weeks maybe longer , not sure.
