Last shot was half a unit on Wednesday the 15th!

His highest reading since then was 131. Most of his readings have been below 125 since then. We are doing a trial. He is getting lower each day. Today his amps was 116 and his +6 was 83! We will see what his pmps is.

The pet sitter got off easy..lol. She was instructed to give him no insulin if he was below 140 and he was for most of the readings for the week. She texted me his readings each day, am and pm and sent me videos...she was great! Took a lot off of my mind knowing she was so experienced with diabetic cats. She even stopped by and did a +6 a few times and each time, he was under 100. I think he is on his way to that r word (paws crossed) so we are cautiously optimistic. He started out with mostly 120's and now is in the 1teens the last few readings so hoping he goes even lower!

Mr P is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :RAHCAT cat_pet_icon dancing_cat flip_cat haha_smiley haha_smiley

What fantastic news, Joyce! :RAHCAT :RAHCAT (You should go on a trip more often. ) Paws and fingers crossed that he stays in these lovely numbers. I imagine you are giving mini meals to support Mr. P.

Re: Simon has not had insulin for 4 days!

Actually, he is on two meals a day now (was giving him the mini meals prior to our trip) because the sitter only came twice a day, so she gave him one can in the am and one in the pm (FF classics) so that is what I am sticking with! His PMPS just now was 116! I was hoping our homecoming was not a stressor to him and make it shoot up, but, did not happen :-D

Congratulations to you and Simon!! drinking24
Im so very happy that everything went so well while you were on vacation!!

This morning he was at 126 at 11 hours since last test and dinner. We are trying to get him back on our schedule instead of the sitters. Not sure if he would have been lower if we waited until 7 am instead of 6 am, but that is his number. No insulin again today :-D :-D
