For those of you who might remember, Judith and I rescued a 4 week old kitten back in August of 2012.

Well, that little girl, Amma, is celebrating her 1st birthday today. Though we are still very much mourning our beloved Pirate we embrace our baby kitten, a baby no longer. She has made it quite clear she's a big girl now.





Happy 4th of July to everyone in LL!!!

I'm sorry about your Pirate, it must be hard:*( But I am glad you have another fur baby (what a cutie!) and am sending Happy Birthday wishes to your Amma, I hope that you all have a great party! :-D
 
Looks like a beautiful little Marmie. Nice orange marmalade stripes.

AMMA'S 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY​


Time for CAKE!!! Many thanks to Wink and Mama Bean Deb for providing the exact amount of cake for all. Whiskers of all colors are coated with the sweetness of a nice buttercream frosting. The singular candle has found its way under a couch, courtesy of the fabulous fastidious furry pawdums of Chyna and Chicken Little - obviously natural born soccer stars.

Gabby has untied the bouquet of party balloons with her nimble nails providing dangling string entertainment for Zenner, Trixie and Oliver.

Inquisitive Shadow has discovered the rattan mouse party favors and is fast on the job of making rattan confetti.

Lucy took her portion of icing to the bookshelf and looks magnificent cleaning her right paw on top of Why Cats Paint.

Amma is admiring her gifts while curled up on the soft, cinnamon ombre chenille throw which is a gift from color conscious Cleo.

Chaperone Mama Beans; Sienne, Liz, Terriy, Rhiannon, Jane, Deb, Amy, Mariko, Rachel, Mary and Shai survey the effusive environs while awaiting clean up duty)
