I was reading the posts about what to put in our signatures but didn't understand a couple of terms and couldn't find what they meant in the glossary......
Can someone explain "TR, SLGS or Custom" please or just point me in the right direction to read - sorry to be a nuisance !

Dang! Hit some odd combination of keys and it posted my last contribution before I finished. (Wish I knew what it was: I like keyboard shortcuts!)

TR: Tight Regulation - An intensive dosing and testing protocol used with Lantus, Basaglar and Levemir insulins.

SLGS: Start Low, Go Slow - other types of dosing protocols that are less intensive. Different insulins may have their own appropriate SLGS protocols.

Custom: Some experienced members don't follow the regular protocols and use custom dosing criteria to manage their cats.
