We had a "situation" late last night (US 11p) that we had never encountered. With the help of this community, everything turned out fine.

The ability to reach out to others in different time zones allowed me to get advice when I needed it & finally get some sleep.

A quick thank you & acknowledgement to the members across time zones that helped us out. Your tireless support is invaluable. :bighug:

The Best! as a newbie Suzanne she stayed on with me until 4:30 AM US E.T. as we stabilized Corky back to safety, I will be forever grateful to her and this Forum helping me save him!!:bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::joyful::joyful:

You are in Eastern time, aren’t you? Me too. What is your shot time?

Buster's shot time is also 6am/6pm.
Unless, of course, I do a fur shot. Then we shoot him early and adjust our sleep times for the next few days... :(
You never shoot twice or earlier if/ when you get a fur shot, you take the risk that some insulin went in and you might and could cause cause hypoglycemia you still give the shot at the same time or none and wait for next dose:bighug::cat::cat::bighug:

It's usually only an hour or so early. And only based on when his numbers have stayed super high (400s, 500s) all day. Hypo is not typically a concern right now. Heck, we can't even get him into the 200s for very long! :(

Are you feeding high carbs or kibbles? he is quite high! but it is important to keep the same schedule 12 hours:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:
