Should I really care about 14% different from the chart?

Hi all.

My baby is 6 month old.

She LOVES Fancy feast classic pate chicken. My vet told me it's because it is high in fat and told me to switch to Royal canin. But when I search about Royal canin it has a LOT of carbs and a lot of plant based ingredient.

I tried to switch it to Fancy Feast Roasted chicken instead since it has much more protein and much less fat, but my picky girl does not like it.

Should I really care about those different and keep trying to make the switch? or it's just fine staying with Fancy feast classic pate chicken.

Many of us feed the Fancy Feast pates. Is there a reason your vet wants fat limited?

I would stay with the pate if she likes it. Good carb percentage - Royal Canin has nothing special other than the price. Kitten food is higher in fat too because young ones need it.
