So if you have been following Guinness' progress you are aware that he isn't necessarily responding very well to the insulin. We haven't quite found his "dream dose" right now. Something has come up for this Saturday (tomorrow) evening where I won't be around for his PM shot. I normally shot him at 4:30am and 4:30pm, but on Saturday I have a function to attend at about 1pm and probably won't be home until midnight. I don't have anyone who can come and shoot him at 4:30pm (I could hire a pet sitter for this, but I'm not even sure she could do it on this late notice). How bad would it be for me to skip this shot? I think if he was responding beautifully and we were on some sort of downhill roll, it might really mess things up, but since his numbers won't budge below 300, I'm wondering if the skipped shot will really be all that detrimental?
