? shot location and rotation? multiple q's

hi,

we've been rotating left, center, and right scruff as our shoot locations.
should we be using more locations?
if yes, what are they?
is there an absorption benefit to rotating, or is it more for kitty comfort?

They say the side of the stomach has the best adsorption, but we just do the flanks and his midline...I'm not that brave

For the entire 6.5 yrs that Gabby was diabetic, I shot in the scruff. She was decidedly not amused if I attempted to shoot anywhere else! Frankly, I think a lot depends on your cat. I never had a problem with absorption and shooting in the scruff but the thinking is that insulin is better absorbed when injected in other areas.

thanks for your replies. i think for now we'll keep with our scruff rotation and consider "other parts" as an option potentially for the future.
