I was at PetsMart the other day and saw what I assume is a new food by Sheba (hadn't seen it there earlier in the month). They had about half a dozen flavors of food in 3 ounce cans--3 pates, I think, and three that had gravy. Because each can had a BOGO sticker, I bought three and got three cans free (pate flavors, of course--chicken, beef and possibly turkey, I can't remember). I chanced that the pate flavors would be okay carb-wise, and so far, so good with Snickers' numbers.

I was wondering if anyone else had seen this food yet, and if there are any "as fed" numbers or carb percentages out there yet? I did a seach on the site but didn't come with anything.

Is it one of these? http://www.petsmart.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=sheba&origkw=sheba&sr=1

The pate description says Small amount of gravy for moist, delicious food that easily empties from the can But the ingredients lists broth. Ingredient-wise the good looks ok but is heavy on the by-products.Some of the entrees lists starch as an ingredient.

It must be a new Sheba product. It's not even listed on the Sheba web site. I think Sheba was involved in that pet food recall several years ago.

Yes, that's what I bought. When you open the can, it looks just like FF--the "gravy" is really just broth. I liked that the first ingredient was muscle meat, and with the BOGO coupon, it was a good deal!

I bought a few cans also and my cats love them - like it better than anything else right now. Not sure if it will last or if its just cause its new but I went back and bought a bunch, not only did they have the bogo but they are on sale too!!
