Hello Guys,

Life started to be hard again... I can not sleep, and I feel something on my chest that that doesnt let me to breathe...
Shanga's mouth was healing after surgery but now it gets worse everyday...
I called the vet and waiting for his call for an appointment... he will get xrays to check...
I dont know what to do... I google the stories after full mouth surgery and most of the cats healed. I couldnt find a unsuccessful story ... So I dont know what people do if the surgery didnt heal the lesions.
So please help me if you know more...
I am just so sad... and feel desperate....

Have a good day all ...

Love,

And Super Big Hugs to you, Pallid. I wish I could be there for you.

Thank You Dyana, It means a lot...
I already feel you here my dear friend...

Thank You very muchhhh :)

My civvie Johnny had a full mouth extraction and it didn't help him. The thing that helped him was Cyclosporine (squirt) and Metacam injection (this was before the bad things were known). He was on both for a year until one day he just didn't need it anymore.

I feel for you. It's not easy seeing your baby in pain and not knowing what to do for them!
Stomatitis is a very, very bad word

I see that some folks are responding on the Main Health Board, Hande-

hoping that you get some helpful info...
and sending all the healing thoughts we can muster to Shanga.

How did they get rid of it? What type of test was used to detect it? This might help Hande to take to the vet to ask questions.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for being there...
Shanga had Bartonella test, and he didnt have Bartonella but also he had azithromycin treatment ...
I dont know what to do... Vet will take xrays and see if something wrong with the roots... ( and vet doesnt work at the clinic anymore so he will find a place to check him... ohh God...)
3 weeks ago he completely healed and now i really dont know what happened that it came back :(

what do the sores look like, joy?

i'm wondering if there's any possibility it's something like a food allergy. have you tried a hypoallergenic food? something like duck or rabbit? i get sores in my mouth from certain foods that i'm allergic to - the skins blisters up like it was burned, especially on the roof of my mouth. then the blisters open and not to be really gross, but the skin sorta peels away.

just trying to think what else it might be.

was shanga given clindamycin?

Hi - just wanted to day I am sorry that Shanga is having problems. I have no advie, no experience with any of this, but a wishing Shanga a full recovery! I hope things improve soon.

Hello julie & punkin

''what do the sores look like, joy?'' look at the second picture...

Lesions (red) are back of his mouth and on his palate... I feed him with fancy feast because i have no chance to find any other better wet food here. All of them are gravy or jelly or have grains...

''was shanga given clindamycin?'' Shanga used other antibiotics but clindamycin. I bought it today and planning to start tomorrow.
I found out another medicine which is effective. ''EFAC Periodontal Soft Gels''... I researched about it and found on Ebay BUUUUUUT They dont send it to Turkey.
I think I will go crazy very soon.
I really need to thank you all for your support...
Big Hug From me and Shanga...

I'm so very sorry Shanga isn't feeling well, Hande. I know how terrible and helpless it makes you feel.

Shanga, tatlim, geçmiş olsun ♥

Sending continuous healing vines to Shanga's mouth.
And wishes for you to be strong, and keep trying. Stay possitive.
Much love from our house to yours.
