Shaking legs while walking

I'm freaking out a little. Alex has been consistently high and I'm trying to find his dosage. I have him on an automated feeder so that he gets fed at +4 and +8 every 12 hours plus his regular feeding at shot time. He was extraordinarily hungry this morning (ate his usual meal in less than 10 minutes) and I even ended up giving him a little more at +2 just to make sure. It's possible the other cat ate most of his food overnight, although I have no way of knowing and this usually isn't a problem.

I checked him at +5 and he was in a good range, which was nice, but then I noticed he was walking strangely. He kept shaking his front paws as if they hurt or tingled, then would stop to lick them. It's like he was walking wide and would just swing them out, almost as if it was broken. Sometimes would shake his back legs when walking.

I gave him some more food and checked him again to make sure that the reading is correct and this isn't hypo, but his legs are still acting strangely. I checked for ketones this morning because he was so high and it was negative.

He'll walk a few steps and then sit down, but I'm not sure if that's just him being a cat, or he can't move further than that without needing to rest.

I'm not sure what to do.

I wish I knew of some advice to give, but I don't. I'm definitely following this thread though. I'm sorry.

He's sleeping next to me and I'm just watching him intently. It doesn't help at all that he tends to go into very deep sleeps when he dreams where his whole body will twitch and it's very hard to wake him, which to me looks indistinguishable from a seizure. He's always done this, but it keeps scaring me.

Before I realized my cat was diabetic I'm pretty sure he's has a couple of seizers. It's scary. :(
