Hello everyone
hope all is well in PZI land

we are doing pretty well

I raised him last night to 2.25, but he seemed to stay at the same number
5 hours after I shot him up, not sure why but I will see what happens tonight,

Is this normal forhim to be cruising some days and others to stay the same

Thanks as always
Denise and Shakes

Unfortunately there is no "normal". Every cat is different. Some react immediately to a dose change, some take a few cycles. With Lantus, they have names for all the possible scenerios - new dose wonkiness, etc. I do think the names make it seem more predictable. Wth PZI, we tend to just look at the individual cat and try to see patterns for that particular cat.

Although they are still pink, your ps numbers are sneaking down. Anytime you can get a nadir is helpful. Adn continue to check ketones. You are doing great, Denise.

thanks for your advice Sue!
It is always so helpful to get advice!

I am going to keep him where he is and try to get numbers on Friday or Saturday
I also thought that maybe his numbers were "sneaking down" (love that)
Ihave my fingers crossed that they will continue to sneak

His personlaity seems so much better on the PZI so that alone is making me happy
Ihated Lantus and that blank stare he used to have 50% of the time
He is talking so much more nowit is wonderful

well thanks as always and I hope you have a great day!

Glad that Shakes is doing better and talking (love kitty talk). Paws crossed his #'s continue to sneak down.

Here’s hoping for some more sneakin' down all around here :-D
Great job Denise and Shakes!
