We started out much better today than we have a few days, so let's hope this trend continues! She seems to be feeling better today, which likely is helping too. I actually got her to eat plain canned food too without having to put crumbled dry on top, but it did take a lot of coaxing to get her to finish and took about 1.5 hours start to finish. Hoping that gets better soon. This time I made it into a soup to make it seem different. Still on the usual pancreatitis treatments.

7/28 PMPS = 407, gave 0.7U (would barely touch her wet food though, even sprinkled with dry, so I gave up and gave her dry)
+7.5 = 252 (finally! and after dry food no less)

7/29 AMPS = 256, gave 0.7U (ate canned food this time -- yeah!)
+4.5 = 157
+7 = 150
MDPS = 218, gave 0.7U (actually tested and shot at +9; she would not eat canned this time, so I gave dry -- ugh)
+3 = 299 (food spike?)
+6 =277 (feeling warmish to me and a little less perky, so she may not be feeling as well as she did earlier today)
PMPS = 291, gave 0.7U
+7.5 = 354

Let's hope she's coming around. I'm glad she's eating her wet food, mine all like it soupy. Glad that she's having a better day.

She tends to vary between liking different tastes and textures when she's like this. My GA Tabriz wanted his goop -- basically canned mixed with lots of water and strained to remove chunks. If he could lap it down, he was happy. At one point I even added soaked dry (renal) food to add calories and blended it with the canned. He loved the stuff, awful as it sounds, but he didn't have diabetes.

It's funny that you mentioned blending the food, that was how a newbie switched her kitty to wet when I first started. Her kitty would only lick the gravy so she put the wet and water in a blender and just like that the kitty was converted.

We'll try just about anything won't we. :-D
