She seems to be feeling a bit better today. Appetite is much better with the fluids and pain meds. I tried using a smaller dose of the pain med and no change in behavior, so I think the fluids are making the biggest difference. She's definitely dehydrated because she's absorbing fluids as fast as I give them, and dehydration makes them feel funky too. Stools are still soft, but they have more normal color and no blood. I do think we are beginning to get the infection under control, and possibly the GI bleed. Will take her in for another PCV next week and we'll see how that goes. She's still on sucralfate to address that. She is so good with all the treatments. She always lies there purring while I give fluids or even when I'm taking blood from her ears. She's definitely calmer than she was a few days ago, so I do think she is feeling better.
