This was just released by Health Canada. It refers to humans using these drugs but I have seen articles where Metformin was one of the drugs "suggested" for use in cats and dogs. I don't know if any of the other drugs are used with cats or dogs.

  • Serious, sometimes life-threatening and fatal cases of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) have been reported in patients on sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors for type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
