Hello guys,
Bella seems to overall be doing well since her diagnosis about a month ago however we have run into a bit of a puzzle that I was hoping you guys might have some advice on. I have another cat who is about 19 and completely blind/deaf (also possibly having some kitty dementia) and she just does not do too great on the wet food only diet that Bella is now on. She throws up and gets lots of loose stool. If I leave dry food out anywhere Bella will most definitely get into it because she adores it. I am worried because my old cat is so used to free feeding that feeding her only twice a day might make her not get enough calories as she only its a small portion at a time. I am also not sure if she would have the vision/awareness to be able to use one of those feeder that only opens for specific cats.... been wracking my brain trying to figure this out. If anyone has any advice let me know. Thanks!
