Tremor looked like a Parkison's head tremor in humans. It lasted at least 15 minutes as I do not know how long he was doing it prior to me seeing him. When I started rubbing down his spine, it stopped temporarily. He was purring as soon as I picked him up.
I already LVM at my vet's office as I know their Monday mornings are back to back calls.
He is estimated to be 13-16 years old and was neutered prior to being adopted into my family. Aside from this, his medical history before 2010 is unknown.
He was diagnosed with diabetes just over a year ago. He is on 3 units of Vetsulin 2x a day.
He takes 13 units of Atopica every 4 days. Prior to this medication he suffered from constant skin issues and scratched until he was bald and bloody.
He is the DLH Tuxedo boy in my profile picture. He is calm and sweet. He gets a lion cut every 10 weeks and the groomer says he literally purrs throughout the entire process.
He has had so many problems in his life that I want him to be comfortable and happy forever. In addition to the skin issues, he has had other health issues which were able to be taken care of easily. It seems like about once a year it's something new with him. I love my precious boy.
