Today has been 1 week since my diabetic cat has been on semi-raw recipe from Dr. Pierson. He still eats his canned food occasionally but today is the 2nd morning in a row he vomits the raw food :/
He had his breakfast this morning and I gave his shot, then he threw up. I wonder if he hadn't eaten enough before his shot? But he doesn't usually eat a whole lot at once anyways.
Yesterday threw up in the afternoon I think, not right after his shot.
Not sure what to think :/

There are various reasons that cats vomit. It could simply be the diet change. Diet changes can cause diarrhea, I'm not sure about vomiting, but then ECID.

Is he "off" his food, like not eating as much as he did maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago? It's possible he has something else going on if so. You might try stopping the raw food and see if he stops vomiting. If not, he should probably go in for a check-up. We see pancreatitis sometimes present first as vomiting and inappetence.

Thank you for the advice. He has an appointment with the vet 1 week from today.
I noticed his appetite changed since around 4/11 when I lowered his dose but wasn't enough. I took him to the vet last Saturday and he recommended me to raise it back to 1u. He has been eating less quantity with the raw food but a lot of people told me it's natural for a cat to eat less on this diet. I just gave him some of his Nature Variety's rabbit right now and he is eating fine.

maybe ate too much? maybe ate too fast? Danny will throw up in either situation, usually because he's either too hungry or really likes the food. I have to parcel his food out in several small servings at each meal.

Also mine ate more raw at first, then tapered off a bit. Unless it's cold, then they eat like crazy.

He actually ate very little. I'm actually suspecting that he didn't have enough to eat before his shot. I once was sick and ate a banana before my meds and I threw up few minutes after because the banana wasn't strong enough to hold my meds.
I think I will give his normal food before shots and semi-raw for lunch and snack. we'll see how this goes! He usually eats bigger portions of his canned food compared to the raw.
