2/5 Kathy Does anyone have experience switching from Lantus Solostar glargine to Semglee glargine pen?
I am new to this message board and to message boards in general, so please forgive any etiquette issues! I just received a prescription for my cat Sherlock's insulin pen, and went to a pharmacy a bit closer than the pharmacy I originally went to. I made sure ahead of time that the pharmacist knew I had been using the Lantus, and so that was what I expected to receive. Instead, I received 5 Semglee pens (distrib'd by Civica). I have put a call into my vet but she has not gotten back to me yet. That said, again does anyone have experience with the biosimilar Semglee? Thanks!

Yes, we've had a number of people switch to another of the glargine biosimilars, of which Semglee is one. I don't think they saw much difference.
