Good afternoon fine folks. I'm looking for advice regarding Hare Today raw food company.

I'm considering switching Ittle to a home-cooked diet, again. I've been feeding him Tiki Cat after dark which he adores. However, Tiki Cat is VERY expensive. It makes more sense to look into making his food again. It's definitely more affordable.
I will be using 3 meat proteins to avoid allergies. Rabbit, lamb and poultry seem to look good. Most of the poultry and lamb can be sourced from my local grocery store. Rabbit, quail and duck would have to be ordered online. Hare Today is on the east coast, seems to have good quality and is somewhat affordable. They also have a wide selection of different meat proteins. I will be using EZ Complete supplement and doing the partial cook method(crockpot).
So, all thoughts and experiences regarding Hare Today would be greatly appreciated. Any thoughts/experiences regarding home-cooked diets appreciated as well.
TIA:bighug:

HI :)

I feed Tiki Cat since my guy likes it and it freezes perfectly for my automatic feeder which I leave him overnight. I also buy chicken hearts, gizzards and liver and make a slightly baked mix for him to eat mid day with some supplements. IF he had it his way, he would eat the hearts raw and sometimes does but I hadn't been able to switch him to an all raw diet so. I don't mix too many protein types because I found that when he had slight changes in his appetite or his allergies would flare up - with too many proteins - it is hard to tell what is what so we stick with poultry. Turkey, chicken and duck- dark meat, muscle and organ meat.
I do know that hare today had some great reviews all the way around- even on other sites where people shared their raw/ home made diets....and wholefoods4pets is another.
