Wow, I can't believe it's that time already. Actually. I'm trying to get a good head start on this because I'm taking a long vacation in September and want to be able to start printing calendars when I get back home.
Same rules apply:
Sugarcats only. This is any cat who ever had a diabetes diagnosis and includes all GA's and OTJ kitties.
No civvie cats please. I can only fit a limited number of photos so naturally, we want to profile the diabetic kitties. Also, no people in the photos--not even if they're diabetic!
Please send high resolution JPEG's. Please send a well lit, sharply focused photo. My Photoshop elves worked very hard last year but I think we should make their job even easier this time around. Most cell phone photos don't turn out very well so try not to send those.
If you still have your sugarcat, please try to submit a current photo, I currently have over 1000 FDMB cats in my Shutterfly album and each year, it gets harder to find previously submitted photos. I'm actually going to start weeding through those albums soon and only keep photos of the GA kitties.
Also, if you can rename the photo file with your name and your cat's name, it speeds the process up and keeps me from getting any of the names wrong. Trust me, some of these kitties start to look alike after a while!
I'm setting a submission deadline of September 1, 2013. (and please feel free to send as early as possible!)I'm going out of the country on the 17th of September and would like to have as much organized as possible. I can guarantee I won't be looking at cat photos while I'm on vacation! I hope to start placing our first printing by early October.
Please send the photos to me at sweetkittyboo@msn.com.
I think that covers everything. Any questions, please email me at the above address.
