Hi Team,
Oscar Lantus is up to 6 units twice a day and on the EZ complete with low carb Chicken, Turkey, Rabbit, or Pork. Took him in the Vet and with urine test and Dental exam the Vet didn't see any issues. Going to get some blood work done Friday afternoon and have sent to MSU to hopefully rule out acromegaly and IAA.Vet also suggested with Oscar vomiting on average of once every other day could have some hypo allergic issues and want to rule out IBD. She wants me to try giving him Royal Canin Protein Pea and Duct and also Protein Pea and Venison. I want to help Oscar out but $3.69 a can. Any other options just as good or better cheaper? I am also contemplating switching to Levimir if no other diseases. Hoping, for some odd reason Oscar could be insulin resistant to just Lantus.
