Hi everyone, it has been quite a while since I have posted here (sorry!!!) I am so happy that today on Mother's Day is Scrabble's 1 Year OTJ party!!!! I just tested his bg which I do about once a month now and it was 75, woo hoo! I am so proud of him! Scrabble and his sister Sabrina hope to see all of our old friends today and meet some new one's!!!
Just a little background on us, in case you don't know. Scrabble was dx Feb 2010 and went otj May 2010. I had a terrible vet who dx him and in this whole process found a new one who I really like. Luckily for us I found FDMB the night he was dx!!! Those were definetely the longest months of my life. I was incredibly stressed during that time, but so many of you on here kept me sane, & thanks so much for that!!!! During that time, Scrabble had his first dental and had to have surgery for an infection and as many of you remember he had to wear a t-shirt for about a month until it healed and had to endure 2 rounds of antibiotics, boy was that fun! But my boy came through with flying colors and he is such a happy and loving guy. You would never know that he is going to be 15 in Sept. We hope all of you have a very happy Mother's Day!!!!!

What a coincidence. I was just thinking about you lately and meant to E-mail to see how you and Scrabble were doing lately. Congratulations to you and Scrabble on 1 Year OTJ and on Mother's Day! I am so happy for you and Scrabble. I remember so well your journey with Scrabble and the all nighters and then you had to work, too! I remember your Vet knew very little about feline diabetes. Thanks for updating us on Scrabble and you and please keep in touch when possible.

Happy Annifursary handsome Scrabble! I'm very glad to see how well he is doing one year later. I always thought he was such a regal looking kitty. And he was adorable in his blue t-shirt!

Scrabble will always be special to me too since he was the first OTJ video I did. I was so excited to be able to help Diahann (D and Noisy) with this honored task. You and Scrabble had great photos which made the job a blast!

He sure is doing great for a fifteen year old! He looks like a ten year old, hahahaha! :lol:
(excuse me...he's only 14 and a half years old... Didn't mean to offend him!)

Happy Annifursary, Scrabble. Michelle, I loved reading your short history. I've only been at this a month and I, too, would be in an insane asylum if it weren't for FDMB. Scrabble looks like an awesome kitty. I hope one day you'll notice an OTJ icon posted next to Champ's name....here's praying!!! :-D

Crazy how fast this year has gone by. So happy that your gorgeous boy is doing well,
Sabrina too and they we still keep in contact!.

The boys are enjoying their time at the falls.
