Scooter is constipated

Scooter (Harley's brother) seems to be constipated. He is really struggling at the LB. I would ususally give him pumpkin to help but there is a shortage of it at the store (something about a crop shortage). I thought I had seen another posting that Miralax would help. Is this the same OTC people laxative? How much should I give hIm?

Yes, you use the Human Miralax. Per previous posts on this board people have used 1/8 to 1/2 teaspoon. For further information you can search (upper right) for Miralax.

Are you sure he is not struggling to urinate instead of the other? You might want to consider a vet visit. Is he eating dry food? Here are some good links:

He does have problems with intestinal things - almost like IBD but not really. I had him there last Thursday and during the exam she said - he has some hard stool in there. Nothing was done. Labs came back normal and he peed just before he tried to poop. Don't want to get specific but hard round pellets came out...that's what I am thinking constipation.
