So, on 9/21 PMPS Bubba was too low to shoot and I had to stall 2 hours after he ate so I could safely shoot him. Then again on 9/24 AMPS he was to low, again I had to stall 2 hours after eating to shoot. I had not recovered his schedule the first time when it happened. So now we are 2 hours off scheduled meal times. My confusion is that I have been feeding him most of his meal at his usual time which is about 2 hours prior to the new shot time. And I save about 1/3 of the meal to give him prior to shooting him. My question is: Is that enough food at his shot time for the insulin (roughly 1 1/2 oz of food )
The reason I am questioning it is because today, he is going down quicker the first 1/2 of the cycle. At +5.25 he is at 129 and he usually drops later in the cycle. I will monitor him as he has 7 more hours with this insulin shot. I don't know if it is because of less food with the shot or just Bubba being Bubba, unpredictable....Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Good ol Bubba, he just loves watching you dance! You know I can't answer your question, but maybe it's like Sue and Rachel said, maybe his pancreas is waking up! Go Bubba!

Bubba, Bubba, Bubba. You really do keep your mom hopping. I think you like the attention.

It looks like your giving food early in the cycle today flattened out the cycle. A nadir at +5 is better than one at +10. Now if he'd surf along awhile....

Well, no surfing........ which is what he was doing for a couple cycles. Now at +9 he's at 394 and I just gave him 1/2 his dinner so I can give the other 1/2 at shot time in 3 hours. He is killing me!!! He went up 89 points from that nadir at +5 to +6! I was afraid he was going to crash on me. Instead he went high. He can not be figured out!
