I know I haven't been on here in quite some time but I just wanted to thank everyone for all their help getting Kittycat in remission. I was so worried I would have to say goodbye when he was diagnosed with diabetes. But with all your help I managed to get him in remission and he has lived a few more good years! Unfortunately the vets told me a few months ago he most likely has kidney cancer and gave him only weeks to live. He managed to bounce back again and hang on this long! However, today he has been sick and just seems so weak I decided it's best to say goodbye so he doesnt have to suffer. :( I called the vet and am taking him in tonight to be put to sleep. Thank you to everyone who helped me get a few more good years with him. <3 He was a stray and I'm so thankful he decided to show up at my house as a kitten. (And that I spent an hour convincing him to come out from under my shed! :)) He has been an amazing cat and I will miss him so much :(.

I'm sorry that you have to make this decision. But it sounds like he had a fabulous life with you. He picked the perfect human.

Letting them go when we know their quality of life is suffering is always so hard....but it's the last gift we have to give them

Fly free sweet Kittycat and land softly....there are many at the Bridge to welcome you
you always said I was your angel...now it's time to get my wings.jpg

may your baby rest in peace. And you find peace in knowing your baby will be free of pain. Hugs to you.

Kitty cat is beautiful - you are showing how much you love him to make this decision
I'm very sorry - realize how difficult tonight (and tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow) will be for you
big hugs

I'm so sorry you have had to make this hard decision. Rejoice in the years you had together, and take strength in knowing you always did the best by Kittycat, including this final act of ultimate love. He will live on forever in your heart. {{{HUGS}}}

I'm so sorry, it's so hard to say goodbye to our sweet cats. No matter how long they're with us, it's never long enough. He will always be with you.
Fly free, Kittycat, and land softly. cat_wings>o

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it was a hard decision. You gave him a home and your love, he will live in your heart forever. cat_wings>o

I'm sure all the board kitties who have gone ahead were there to welcome Kittycat to the Rainbow Bridge, and now they're frolicking around and carefree with their new, youthful bodies, just waiting for the time to be reunited with us to say thanks for the wonderful lives that they had. And it's clear that Kittycat was one lucky dude to have someone fight so hard for him, to beat that diabetes into remission, to give him those extra years of life, and to give him a dignified transition when it was time.

I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to your kitty tonight, but I'm so happy you two shared such a bond and such a long, wonderful life together. Fly Free Kittycat!

So very sorry for your loss of Kittycat. And thank you for sharing with us that photo of your gorgeous boy. cat_wings>o
