Say hello to my little friend, Ducky

Hi there! My name is Cat (for reals) and I am Ducky's human. Ducky was recently diagnosed about a week and a half ago, right before the holidays! So we have been stressed to say the least. At first I didn't believe it, as we thought her glucose levels were increased due to the stress of going to the vet (she absolutely despises travel), but our vets seem to be pretty sure and want to start aggressive treatment. To say I am anxious is an understatement and my google search patterns have changed from scholarly school questions to feline diabetes questions! We started insulin this morning and she was not happy.
