I have been treating Mal for about 3 weeks now and have posted before about my struggles with shots. I was thinking if I could observe a more experienced person give shots as well as do blood sugar testing it might help me out. He is getting lantus. I thought of taking him to the vet to watch them or have them instruct me again but hate to have him go through that stress. I have watched numersous videos. Maybe even just knowing someone in town would be helpful if they had the time. Thank you!
 
Do you have any info set up on your signature on your account? It would allow a lot more eyes to see your thread and respond to it. I found out that I received a great deal more responses after I created one. The info shows up under each post. There is almost always someone online to give you a helping hand.

A friend of mine once asked a certified pet sitter who was experienced with giving shots to cats to come to her home and help her learn to give shots.
You might even be able to find a vet tech nearby who would be willing to come to your home and help you to figure out about giving shots.
 
Thank you, I really liked this one tech who also happens to be a diabetic. I will see what she thinks!

Most vets have a cat living there that they use to demonstrate on using saline solution.....You might call and see if you can go practice your technique
