Am going to call vet and get some Amox since I can't get Sam to take a pill at all. Turns his head away and wont' eat a pill pocket.
 
Sounds like a good idea, Sue. Darn, most cats think pill pockets are great. While you are waiting for the new meds, you could try putting it in a tiny piece of soft cheese and see if you can fool him.
 
Tried all the tricks, he is also slowing down on his eating. He didn't eat at all after his shot except he'd eaten a pretty good meal about an hour before so I wasn't to worried. The vet called and has some amox sitting out and some Forti-flora. Magic cat dust!!!! All the animals love it. :smile: Sam usually loves those pill pockets but I think he smells the pill in there. He ate two of them with the clavamox in them got diarrhea and then quit eating them.
