AMPS 222 shot 1.2u Good pre this morning! Sam was anxious to get his test early, he kept bugging me for it even though he hates the ear poke. Growly he is. Anyway, I thought he'd be high, hence the bugging, but the pre was great! flip_cat

+6 197 I wonder if he got a furshot? I didn't feel any wetness after so who knows. I'm thinking of shaving his back since his fur is getting so long. Reverse mohawk??? :lol:

Nice preshot number. I would be getting some midcycle tests in - he has been going pretty low on a much higher ps. Mabe even a +3 would be good to check on his direction and speed?
 
ooooooh, i looked at that dose and thought...hmmmmm. a bit much? do NOT want to see another really low nadir. would have shot 1u into that....IMHO
hoping for a nice higher than 70 nadir for sam tho'
 
a few days back 1 unit on 193 (basically the same as today) it got you a 53 nadir and a bright red pmps.
see the logic?

Welcome back Sue! Yes, the shot was probably to much, it was closer to 1.1 though. I have a hard time guessing with the U40 needles. They are in half doses so there is a pretty wide field. Hopefully, his preshot tonight won't be to high. I tend to think that 1 unit is the lowest he can go when it's not.

I wanted the DH to do a +3 but he went over to his mom's before I could catch him.
 
Very nice PS, yay!!! The mid-cycle test could have been if the dose was too high. Hard to know, but if he has acted fine even with the lower nadirs he's seen it could be those are ok #s for him - maybe this dose was too much & he fought it off? Hard to really say for sure. Fur shot I would actually expect his to jump higher, but hey, you never know. Maybe just a wonky day for who knows why.
