GA Sammy earned her wings today

Hi, I havent been here for ages, since Sammy has been OTJ , but wanted to let you know that she earned her wings today. She stayed OTJ, but her heart finally got tired and she declined very quickly. She was 16.5 yrs of age.cat_wings>o
 
Linda, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Sammy. My boy and I didn't "know" you, but if you were a former dancer of the Sugar Cat dance, we're all connected in some way. If Sammy remained off the juice then you were obviously a great team. Hugz, know that she is already in a sunspot at the Bridge :rb_icon:

I'm so sorry....it's never easy on us, but Sammy is in good company until you meet again. Many prayers and our deepest sympathies to you....
 
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all you did for me here when I really needed help getting Sammy regulated, healthy and off of insulin. While it is true that I found FD support on another forum that was less busy than this one, I will never forget the friends and support I got here. All the best to all of you. God Bless.

Thanks everyone. Sammy has told me she is okay through her little sister, who Sammy would never allow near me in the bed. Now Lizzie is my bedwarmer. I am certain she got permission.
