Hi L&LL,

We are down at camp and last night had a visit from Rusty. Edward heard a batting about sound around 1 a.m., got up to investigate and almost stepped on a perfectly round little pine cone, right next to Rusty’s toy box. It had not been there earlier, when I was looking at the collection of plastic bell balls (Rusty’s favorite toys) and catnip mice in the box in the afternoon. So our boy wanted to leave a gift to tell us he was happy. The pine cone is exactly the size of his bell balls! I can’t tell you how wonderful this is.

We are ok, but missing our boy. Now we know he is ok, too.

We hope all of you and your kitties are doing well and send you lots of hugs and scritches.

I’m so happy, Ella and Edward, that you got a wonderful sign from Rusty. They always come at the time we need them the most.

My animal communicator has always told me that cats are able to go back and forth across the veil and do so much, much more often than other species including humans. They also tend to stay with us for a much longer time so we feel their presence and are comforted by it. It’s why we so often think we see them in their favorite places.

i hope Rusty continues to send you signs that he’s well and happy having a party at the RB with all his best LL pals: Mannie, Stu, Tess, Gracie, Big Mac, Maggie, Gabby, Neko.....oh the list is way too long. :arghh:

Yes, Marje, I don't know if you remember me from several years ago when Gracie passed, it was difficult for me and you were guiding me with Dante. When you mentioned Gracie had passed, I lost it - really, really bad, I am so sorry, as I couldn't even respond to you. I wrote to you so many times trying to comfort you but kept deleting it; I couldn't even comfort myself as it brought back memories for me. It took a year or so for me to return to this forum, Dante had heart failure so I was immersed in that healing process. My previous conversations (pm) with you were about hearing/seeing the animals talk, both in words and pictures. You are correct, they can stay around for a certain period of time so if you allow yourself to see, you will start to vibrate on a different level, and actually see them again. If you 'think' you are seeing, look again, you actually are! You are vibrating on the same level as them so that is why you can see their outline and shadow. Vibrate higher, and you will see them as clear as day - while hearing them speak to you!

Yes, they do leave beautiful gifts - we accept these gifts of love, while they are telling us they are fine, telling us they love us. Rusty knows he was so loved, enjoy his gift, embrace the warmth! Beautiful!

This is an amazing discussion between Dr. Pierson & Dr. Becker about feeding cats with Renal disease & a lot more.
I hope everyone listens to it. It's quite long but important to listen to it all!

Thank you all, dear friends. Last night I took a picture of the little round pine cone in Rusty's camp toy box.

And today, just as we were leaving camp to drive home, we noticed that a piece of driftwood in the shape of a loon had fallen--or been knocked--from its perch on a large tree stump. Rusty always enjoyed sitting on this stump with me. I like to think that he hopped up onto the stump and in so doing the driftwood loon was knocked to the ground. It had been raining lightly, and the spot where the driftwood loon had sat was dry. So we made this discovery almost immediately after it happened. Fanciful?

That's not all: We made another discovery upon returning home this morning. On our walkway, about 10 feet from the back stoop of the house, in the exact middle of the walkway, was an ant trap. It should have been underneath the door jamb, where I put it weeks ago. I don't think the ants moved it! Rusty liked to sit on the back stoop. :cat:

For months I felt sweet Missy cat jump onto the bed at night. Even after Gizmo came into the house. Could always tell it was her. She had a much lighter touch and much, much more graceful. Gizmo has always been like a bull in a china shop. And I would see her in her special spots (especially the back of the couch) all the time.

Bear Man sent me a used BG test strip. Out of nowhere, it appeared lying in the middle of the hallway floor. Emily sent me an unusual beam of sunlight at dawn, shining straight down from the most beautiful sky to the place where I parked at the airport for work. I received many feathers and whiskers from my kitties that had passed. We always have to be open to seeing the signs.

HI Ella! :coffee::coffee::coffee:

How wonderful on all those visits. :joyful: They all make me smile, and very happy. Well done Rusty! I love how our kitties personalize their visits and gifts. Rusty's are uniquely Rusty's. With Mannie it was test strips, syringe caps and nanners. Even a lost scrip I had for one of his meds. My fave was always the nanners, and his infamous sunbeams at the oddest times. As Linda says we just have to be open to see the signs. Keep those signs coming Rusty. For your beans, they make missing you a little easier.
