I'm not sure which kitty has the runny pooh because both are acting fine, and Lexie's bg is normal. I think it might be my sugar kitty Lexie, but I'm not sure what's causing it. I did switch their food about a month ago from friskies classic pate to fancy feast chunky and authority kitten when Lexie had a bought of pancreatitis. I used to be able to tell who's pooh was who's because they were different colors, but since the diet change they are both poohing the same color.

Any thoughts on the cause and how to treat would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info.
Is there anything I can use till the order comes in? It's going to take 5-7days for it to be delivered.

Plain yogurt with active cultures, a teaspoon or so. Try the greek - it is less sour. (Any excess may be used by you for dip, salad dressing mix, marinades on meat, etc.)

Any OTC probiotic w/ Lactobacillus or Bifidum bacteria in it (which are in some yougurts)

BJ....do you put the yogurt in wet food for "every" meal OR just once a day?

How long did you take to transition? Anything less than a week from old to new food can cause diarrhea. You might want to try putting them back on the old food and slowly transitioning in the new..

I'd start once a day, and put it out separately to see if the cat would eat it plain. If not, I'd only mix a little food with it and put that out first, then the rest of the food.

I will give it a try. Don't have to worry about seeing "...if the cat would eat it plain." RumpelT will eat ANYTHING.
