Interesting, Misty, that she keeps coming down in the am, but her nadir is higher as is her pmps. No brilliant ideas here - I like your sliding scale. I don't think it's an typical inverted cycle; I don't know how you could dose less than .2 anyway.......

Guess just figure she is in good numbers and her pancreas should be supported, if it wants to heal.

I have been using U100 syringes....easier to do the low doses. :-D

Her numbers seem to be pretty good lately, but she still is peeing like a race horse (especially overnight...my last lb cleaning is before I go to bed.....when I get home in the AM....WOW !!!!) and her poop stinks from here to 'you know where' and back!!! BJ gave me info on yougurt (or something) to help the poop smell....have to find which post it is on. ;-)

Also....she is still is eating ravenously. I thought that since her numbers were looking so good and needed less insulin that eating/peeing/pooping would start to get back to normal.

I would think eating/litter habits would improve too. Not sure what is going on with her. A vet check would be good, but I know that is problematic for you.

Vet check right now is not in the budget + I want to switch to another vet. Current vet (which I have been using for all of my animals since 1980) is the one that told me to dose 1.5 unit back in March and RumpelT hypo'd. Plus....told me I didn't have to worry about testing. WTH !!!!!

Had to get new (well..new-used) vehicle because my 2004 Honda CRV went to the bridge after 10 years of awesome newspaper delivery work. Soooo...budget is way out of wack now. Where is Publishers Clearing House????? PLEASE knock on my door!!!! @-)

Maybe I should do a curve .... during the day. But....won't be able to do one until NEXT Wednesday.....beginning tomorrow until Tuesday company from SC :roll: During that time RumpelT's entire schedule will be messed up because I may not be home during the usual test/food/shot times. :evil:

Sounds fine. She is in good numbers.

She usually poops (looks as much as the can of Friskies) right after she eats. Maybe that is messing with her numbers and the ravenous eating?? Food IN ---- Food OUT :?: :YMSIGH:

No test before work

AMPS = 104 @ 8:45AM

0.2 unit @ 9:15AM

245 @ 2:15PM (+5)

PMPS = 303 @ 7:45PM

Little More Than 0.8 unit @ 8:15PM

Possibility - no chance of worms or something? My civie eats and immediately goes, but a normal amount....

I don't see any worms. Looks like a can of Friskies thick 'pudding' blob with very odd "sweet" smell to it and she lets it loose on the floor next to litter box...good thing her designated box is in powder room with easy-to-clean floor. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile OMG....sorry to gross you out !!!! ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

I am going to stop the Turkey-Giblets flavor....she has that one most of the time.....maybe that flavor is the problem. Giblets !?!?!?!? :lol:

Here we are with that weird AM down-nadir and PMPS up thing again. RumpelT the "Rubik's Cube" puzzle strikes again. @-) :YMSIGH:

I know your schedule's wonky, but is there any way you can adjust your shot schedule? When Cass's ps's were uneven like this, I had some success with an 11/13 schedule. Let the cycle where she ebds up low be the 13 hour one, abd the high be short (11). Someone even did a 10/14 successfully, if I recall (Angela & Henry, maybe). Caveat, though, I was using a consistent dose, not a sliding scale. But, may be worth a try if your schedule permits.
