AMPS = 448 @ 7:45AM

Ate approx. 2 cans FF for breakfast.

Shot 1.0 unit @ 8:00AM Will test her every 2 hours today to see how 1.0 works out.

G'morning....

I will be posting test results every two hours from 8:00AM EST.
Will only give her 1 "level" tsp FF for treat after tests.

Hope doing 1.0 unit is going to work and maybe that will be the dose she needs.

About 100 points drop in 2 hours. The drop may have been offset some by breakfast kicking in.

If she had a hearty breakfast and the insulin is helping her use the calories from it, she won't be particularly hungry.

Hmm.

Would you be able to break up the 2 cans into separate feedings about 1-2 hours apart, rather than all at once? Sometimes that helps smooth out the curve.

I could try....she actually starts off with her bowl....eats some of it....then goes to the other kittehs' bowls and eats some of theirs. She eats a lot faster than the others ..... I would have to feed her in another room with the door closed or in her carrier until everyone is done eating.
