So, might be a bit higher during day today, AND more level overnight so tomorrow's AMPS should be lower. The insulin will need a bit of tweaking am and pm and it may work to give the same dose at both times.
Fingers crossed!

How is Rumpelteazer behaving? Purring, grooming, playing, etc?

BJM said:Might be the incipient storm. If they freak her out, create an anti-static area where she can hide. Get an antistatic office chair mat, maybe a thundershirt for cats, in a quiet contained space. It is just very very windy now....storm to hit our area around 7:00PM......test/feeding/shot time ohmygod_smile She is pretty good with storms unless a VERY loud thunder boom and lightning crack.
Alternative explanation is that its a bounce - she hasn't settled into the new routine yet. That can take a couple days. Want surfing.....not basketball. LOL
Or, the extra half can in the AM may need the insulin adjusted a tad, which I mentioned previously. You're now seeing during the day may have been what was happening overnight. I always wondered why we don't test overnight. Never got the chance to ask the question why.
Feeding time tonight is going to be crazy. She will be in the powder room with her 1-1/2 can that she will gobble down in 30 seconds while the civvies take an hour to eat their food.

1.0 looks reasonable to test, since you've slightly lowered the food amount. Let's cross our fingers that tomorrow morning her pre-shot wil be a smidge lower, too.
