Are you planning to test a little less today and get some rest?

I will test @ +4 (seems close and/or like nadir) and PMPS as long as numbers look okay at +4. Does this sound good?

I will still pop her a couple PureBites Chicken treats throughout the day....I don't think they do anything to her numbers since they are 100% freeze-dried chicken.

"REST"..... what is that?????

At least I will be able to accomplish some errands and MAJOR paperwork that needs to be done today without having to stop every 2 hours. :-D

I'm wondering why you won't level out his feeding to 1 1/2 cans am and 1 1/2 cans pm.
His am pre-shot would be lower.

AMPS = 385 @ 7:45AM <<<<<NOTE: Only testing today @ AMPS ..... +4 ..... PMPS. Unless +4 number is wacky.>>>>>>>>

Fed/ate 1 can FF after AMPS.

1.25 unit @ 8:15AM

168 @ 12:15PM (+4) Gave/ate PureBites Chicken treats after test.

It would be easy to do 1-1/2 cans in the AM because she is in the powder room until everyone else is done eating.....could be at least 1 hour!!!! But at supper time......I will have to put RumpelT in the powder room again until my civvies finish eating. My civvies are the slooooooooowest eaters I ever saw in my life    In the morning, it takes them at least an hour to finish eating !!!! Since, I cannot stay up until 9:00PM waiting for them to finish eating and let RumpelT out of the powder room.....that may be an issue. I could try to do PMPS and start the feeding at 6:15 or 6:30PM. RumpelT does NOT like to be shut in the powder room for such a long time....I wouldn't want that to happen to me every morning and evening either. :-x

I am trying my best to work this test/feed/shot into my schedule, but it seems to be getting worse and worse. Don't think 'it is all about me' but as you know, I do not have a normal work/life schedule like most people do. I am pretty calm in the morning when I get home for the hoopla, but when it is time for the evening routine....I am getting tired and it is difficult for me to stay calm and not start raising my voice/rushing them to finish. My kittehs have hardly ever (some in their 12 years here) heard me raise my voice. They become scared.....I do not want that to happen.

You should see RumpelT eat.....she has food on her head....all over the counter/floor because it flies out of the bowl.....all over her face.....it is a hysterical thing to watch. If anyone else (human or cat) ate that fast, they would be barfing up their food 10 seconds after they were done.

Are the civvies respective weights fine as is? If they were heavy, picking up the food after an hour might shift them to eat a bit faster at feedings, because they might be a bit hungrier. And that could solve the time problem.

Civvies are at their perfect weights. They just take their good-old-natured-time eating. They are not 'scarfers'.....they savor the flavor.

Might work even if they aren't heavy. As an experiment I'd start slowly - from 90 minutes to 80 minutes, etc. to see if it helps reduce the time.

And maybe try ways to slow down Rumpelteazer - add a smidge of water to increase the volume and/or smear it on a large plate so it takes more work to get it all.

I will try it tomorrow...today has been a very very very brain/mind stressing day for me. Mentally-exhausted.

Sorry...but....I have to really      about your words "...maybe try ways to slow down Rumpelteazter...". I don't mean to offend your suggestions. It is just that the only thing I can compare her with at feeding time is piranha fish !!!!! Would never attempt to try to slow one of those down. Honestly....the only way would be to put one spoonful at a time in her bowl.....wait a minute or two....next spoonful....and on and on and on....but Jeepers Sugarcats....she would probably grab the can out of my hand and eat it!!!!

Please don't take my response as being cocky or anything.....I absolutely do not mean it that way. I am telling you how she is and how I could resolve the issue. ohmygod_smile It would be like spoon-feeding a baby!!!!

I need an alcoholic beverage !!!!
